On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., in a meeting at the Socorro County Annex, 198 Neel Socorro, NM 87801, the Board of County Commissioners of Socorro County Will Conduct a Public Hearing for the Purpose of Discussing the Adoption of Ordinance 2015-04 amending Ordinance 2015-02 Setting Forth Wolf-Human Incident Emergency Protective Measures.
The purpose of the amendment is to change the definition of predator to excludes any bird of prey used for hunting which is under the direct control and supervision of a person. The Board of County Commissioners may vote to adopt the Ordinance at the meeting following the public hearing.
Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for the public to view free of charge online at www.socorrocounty.net or at the County Clerk’s Office or the County Manager's Office, 201 Park Street, Socorro, NM. Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be purchased by the public from either office for $0.70. Written questions or comments to be considered at the public hearing will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Socorro County Manger’s Office.
