All senior programs, including Socorro County, must complete annually for recommendations of capital outlay funding prior to every legislative session. In 2014, Socorro County was ranked at the bottom of the list and received no capital outlay funding during the 2015 session.
Richardson, who took over as Director last year, made great improvements to the application and all four of her projects were ranked as highly critical need. This means her requests will be given top priority for the 2016 capital outlay recommendation. Essentially, Richardson ensured her program's capital improvement needs were moved from the bottom of the list to the top in just one year.
Great job, Annette!
